L'entreprise commerciale a permis d'utiliser de manière créative et autonome une bonne partie du temps et de l'énergie auparavant consacrés au financement. Tout en reconnaissant l'immense valeur de cette expérience, la directrice générale, Janice Abbott, tient toutefois à prévenir les personnes qui pourraient croire qu'elle peut facilement être répétée.

The Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development has selected Diversity Foods to receive the 2010 Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Award in the category of Education for Sustainability. Diversity Foods was nominated by the Canadian Community Economic Development Network, and was selected for its “accomplishments and efforts and commitment to sustainability.”
