Edmonton Small Press Association (ESPA) is a registered, non-profit independent media & activist-arts society with a socially-conscious mandate.

ESPA offers several opportunities for independent artists and community members to develop and implement their own income-generating projects that fall within our current operational focus:

• as a street vendor with "Our Voice" Street Newspaper
• as an independent event producer (independent artists seeking experience in event production also have an opportunity to access ESPA's technical inventory to present their own film screenings, for example)
• as an independent crafter and distributor (access to ESPA's art-supplies, tools inventory & button-maker, for example, and opportunities to distribute at non-profit fairs)
• opportunities to apply for other production/coordination roles with other special projects as opportunities arise

As our mottos are "D.I.Y. or Die" and "Become the Media", the purposes of the above opportunities are to encourage active citizenship and public participation in socio-economic self-determination.
