Diversity Foods Services Wins Again
The Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development has selected Diversity Foods to receive the 2010 Manitoba Excellence in Sustainability Award in the category of Education for Sustainability. Diversity Foods was nominated by the Canadian Community Economic Development Network, and was selected for its “accomplishments and efforts and commitment to sustainability.”
Diversity Food Services is a joint social enterprise of the University of Winnipeg’s Community Renewal Corporation’s (UWCRC) & SEED Winnipeg. The announcement of this award came just over a month after Food Matters Manitoba presented Diversity with the 2010 Golden Carrot Award.
